2 bikes and 2 sets of sensors : selected activity (profile)

In the app I can only set 1 bike (gear) as a default (MTB or Race).

All activities are registered by default on this bike.

Both bikes have separate cadans and speed sensors. 

On my edge 1030 device there is no relation between sensor and bike. 

While training there is a connection. 

I'd like to connect each sensor to a bike and an activity so I don't have to switch this manually.

    Following..... I have a similar issue. I have 2 bikes and 2 Edge devices and want to associate each with the bike they're mounted to.

    Suggest Garmin to add that functionality, through the form at Share Ideas | Garmin

    Thanks, I just submitted the suggestion.  I thought this functionality existed, but after searching the forums, manuals, etc for over an hour... it doesn't look like this functionality exists.  Which really surprises me.

    Yes, indeed, this functionality is frequently demanded here on the forum. However, for feature requests, the forum is not the best platform, since it does not appear to be closely monitored by the staff. And even when some of Garmin employees comment on a feature request, they usually just recommend to submit the request through that form. Only frequently submitted requests have some chance to be considered, hence the more people ask for this enhancement thought the Share Idea form, the better (without spamming with repeated requests, though!).
