Vivomove Luxe - body battery and stress levels no longer accurate.

My body battery went below 5% one day in early March and now no longer goes up very much, if at all, even after 9/10 hours sleep. My stress readings are also permanently high even when asleep which was never the case until the body battery crashed. I have reset the watch / app several times. The body battery then jumps up but shortly crashes back to 0 again. The readings used to go up and down as expected and now pretty much flatline unless I reset the watch. I have attached pictures of what the readings looked like before and what they look like now.

  • The reason to why your body battery isn't recharging is the stress readings during your sleep so body battery is working as it should. Focus on the stress readings.

The stress during the awake time looks ok. Very similar to my stress.

The question then is why you got so much stress during your sleep. Stress is measured by HRV (heart rate variability), so something is affecting the HRV readings. Something happened on March 12.

Could you post a screenshot of the Body battery details with "Show stress" enabled for March 12?

  • Thank you for your reply. Please see attached screenshot. The readings I had for the first three months were very consistent and in my opinion were accurate, it is only since that one date that the stress readings have become so high generally they were always very low. I have read that alcohol and caffeine consumption can affect the readings but I don’t drink alcohol and have very little caffeine so it’s not that!

  • Coffee, alcohol and other drugs can affect the stress measurement. Different heart conditions and pacemaker will also mess up the measurement, but I think you would know if you got a pacemaker on the 12th :-)

You still got some blue measurements (low stress) and the value variates during the day so it is somewhat working. When I've seen this issue before it has been due to the use of Snus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snus - A type of snuff) during the night or just that the watch needs a restart.

  • I’ve also been experiencing a strange measurements that doesen’t match. Hi strees until 4 am, eventhough I go to bed at 23:00.
