iOS 14.4.2 in Uk not working with Garmin connect mobile.

Garmin golf connects and says paired. But Garmin connect mobile will not pair it sync etc. Can’t find device messages etc. 

  • Garmin Approach S40 and also Garmin Approach S42 connects and pairs with Garmin Golf App. However neither of these golf watches will pair/connect with Garmin Connect Mobile App. Also, the Garmin Connect Mobile screen has been changed, and does not show the 'sync' icon at the top right had screen. Alos, there is no automatic syncing going on.  The 'sync' icon has been changed to a blue ' + icon'  which directs you to add your device, only to be told the watch is already paired and then again you get the message "cannot find device". I have circulated through the Garmin troubleshooting actions - none of which correct the issue. Which company is at fault is difficult to say - it could be Garmin or it could be Apple. Hopefully Garmin will proactively advise a fix for the issue which seems to have appeared around April 1.
