Intensity Minutes Graph no longer shows weekly progress

I just updated to the most recent version of Garmin Connect 4.41 and I noticed that the intensity minutes weekly graph is no longer available. It only shows my daily figure and no more weekly progress. Is this fixable?

  • I also prefer the old format

  • Same problem here! I can only see the daily graph. On Report, I see the weekly value, but on graph it is the daily value. I prefer the old version. What can I do?

  • I'm having a similar issue: the app no longer appears to record any intensity minutes at all. I used to get around 500 per week and now it doesn't record any at all, despite the fact I've not changed my activity levels at all. As far as I can tell the intensity minutes recording is simply broken and isn't working at all.

  • I also prefered the display prior to this change.

  • Amber me too....I'd like to see it the old way as well.

  • Hi Amber,

I usually have the My Day card in the simplified view and the same issue happens.

I think the design issue is the fact its a weekly goal but now we are only seeing daily data and not seeing our cumulative day totals throughout the week towards tallying towards our weekly goal.

What was the thought process behind making this change?

I'd have avoided the last update if I knew they change was coming.

  • Agree with all that but on top of that (for it to work) you have to have the home screen "expanded".

I don't normally have it expanded because there is too much scrolling to get an overview of all the stats for the day - so add at east one more step to get to the weekly graph

    Me too!

  • I exercised this morning and checked intensity minutes half way

My Day showed result for the week but when I expanded view and clicked graph on intensity minutes it showed day as zero. At the end of exercise and synchronized then I got the right number for the day - hardly useful.
i wonder if Garmin have heard of User Acceptance Testing

  • Agree. I've posted about being a beta test for the APAC FW. I know in the world of Strava you have to be invited to be a real beta tester....not sure how that works with Garmin. Is it posted anywhere?

  • The current display is useless! I don't use a 'my day' card because it clutters the screen and I don't want to go through x menues to find the weekly display; Hey, the intensity minutes are a goal per week, not per day and hence should be displayed as such. I'd like the old display back.
