Corrupt Garmin file :(

Hello,

I have had the problem of a corrupt garmin file in the past and a very helpful person on here managed to fix it for me. I don't suppose anyone is able to take a look at this one?

I've tried an automatic file fixer online but to no avail unfortunately.

Any help would be hugely appreciated! I've attached the file here in case anyone is able to help. The run should have been just under 12 miles :(

The fit file had some erroneous GPS data

Repaired using Fit File Repair Tool. - B3R94753-fixed.fit

Download then import into Garmin Connect using the [import data page]

The Forerunner 35 has quite a reputation for having this issue. However, here are some tips to help minimize the occurrence of corrupt fit files:

Keep the number of files in the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on the device’s file system to a minimum using these directions: Removing Recorded Activities on a Garmin Fitness Device If you delete the files in your activity folder with a Mac computer, then empty the trash folder before you unplug your device from the computer.
Try to avoid excessive button presses during your activity.
Regularly check for firmware updates using Garmin Express
If issues with corrupt files persist, contact Garmin Support.

Amazing, thank you so much!

This was a trail run and I paused quite a lot to enjoy the scenery! Think this may be what threw it. Will put autopause on next time!
