I do get the fact that Garmin does not want to boost the usage of APple watch data to be synced into Garmin COnnect. I undestand but however, they miss the point. Many people (like me) will anyhow adopt an Applewatch, I di get rid of my forerunner 935 to get to a more generic smart watch and I love it. Instead of preventing this, Garmin could have thought about a premium paid GC offering where they at least earn a bit of money (or even serious money). Now I'm moving away from Garmin and exploring other apps as well. and I am/was a reaaaal fan of Garmin. And I would have been totally prepared to pay for the connection APple watch and Garmin
