Bug in intervals landscape view

The intervals view in the run activity shows the average of the "run" interval laps (4+ in my case) before the "recovery" lap. This is the expected behavior.

In landscape view however, the interval summary stats are the same as the first lap stats. They do not show the average anymore.

This functioned properly before but it stopped working some time ago and has not been fixed in the past 2-3 updates to the Connect app. Because of this I cannot see the agerage pace, heart rate, cadence, etc for the interval. Please fix!

  • Does this not work for you?

Just open the Laps tab on the Activity screen (the third tab), turn you phone horizontally (to the "landscape" position), and swipe the chart to the left - all the detailed values, including the avg. pace for each lap, are there, on the right part of the chart.

Alternatively, use Garmin Connect Web - all that info is visible there too.

  • That's not the point. The problem is that the line labeled "1" in the "int" column should be the averages of the lap, but it duplicates the "lap 2" line instead.

  • OK sorry. I get it now. Have you tried contacting Garmin Support? It's possible there is already a case open for this and they would add you to it. If not, they should open a new case for you.
