Sync issues

Hi, I have the forerunner 735XT 9.8 software update and I’m having trouble with syncing from the watch to the app. I can get all my normal notifications from my phone on my watch but the watch isn’t sending across anything like my completed workout, heart rate or my sleep cycle. My time and date are also wrong, I have fix the time by putting it in manual but the date is still wrong. I have been trying everything online to fix it but doesn’t seem to work. My GPS seems not not be working as well. 

Does anyone know what I should do next?

  • Hello! Can you plug the device into the computer and sync with Garmin Express. That way we can force any data that has not been syncing over to the app. Unplug the device and hold the power button down until the screen is black and ignore power off. After a few seconds can you please turn it on and start an outside activity to see if the GPS will connect. 

    After the above steps. Be sure the Garmin App is up to date as we just released an update. 

    Then we can remove the device from the app and add it back to be sure its syncing again!
