I am following the Garmin Coach 5K Run with a Time Goal: 37:30
I have been doing all the drills etc, and I’m on Week 12 of 13.
The long run and the speed intervals seem to have become extreme:
The next long Run Walk Run is 8 miles.
The next Speed Repeat drill includes 12 x 400 meter runs at a challenging pace.
These seem extreme to me. Is there a mistake? Or is there a reason for such a heavy training load for a 5K?
