I have tried this multiple times & it has not worked for me. When I try to repair the watch with the app it won’t complete the set up.
These steps and videos seem to be the most helpful to fix this issue.

My Garmin Fenix 6 also hasn’t been syncing with my iPhone for the last 6 weeks or so. Latest software installed on both; disconnected and connected again through the app - and all the other suggestions on this page. It says it’s connected and notifications go through but it will not sync unless I use a cable with my computer.
Thankyou! This worked perfectly. It’s basically just registering/activating the device. This information should be on page 1 of the manual, not in a forum. I almost returned this device.

Same here (vivomove Style - iPhone 11pro in my case).
Applied all reset- and re-pairing tipps but no success. Tried different iPhone, same trouble. Both iPhones on iOS 15.0.2..
Fitbit pairs nicely btw…
Interestingly: it seems to work with Android. Very strange, Garmin!
here aren’t any keyboard coming up. How am I suppose to enter the code???
