Connect app hangs or crashes since last update

Hi,

Since yesterday the Garmin Connect app on my iPhone SE (1st gen, iOS 13.6.1) either hangs (it shows the running person icon) or crashes when I start it. I tried to restart the phone, but the issue persists. When I open it on the web it works fine. In the app store I can see that two days ago an update of the app to v4.38 was rolled out, so maybe that new version introduced the issue?

Does anyone else have those issues? Any idea how to solve this?
