Live Tracking not working

After the last update on my Fenix 5x Plus. Live tracking isn’t working. I have it set to auto start the phone is on and has Garmin connect running with full 4g coverage. The activity starts and the email is sent showing my starting location but the route does not track. Anyone else experience this?

I'm not having this issue, but I have heard of users experiencing a problem specifically related to moving out of wi-fi range when starting your activity. The app has problems with losing the wi-fi signal and gracefully transitioning into cellular.

I would try turning off wi-fi on your phone several minutes before you start your activity.

I had heard about that issue. This isn’t related as I am starting in the mountains away from any Wi-fi

I turn off Auto Start in Garmin connect. Start my watch and then start the live tracking in Garmin Connect app. The issue seems to be related to Auto Start.

It is annoying this hasn’t been fixed. Having to manually start from the app then put your phone away. It was great when I just set it up in the app prior. Then have auto start pick up every run tracked to the live website.

In my case Live Track even doesn't start at all. The watch sais "LiveTrack failed". I can confirm what Mickey_R has reported: Starting Live-Track manually is a workaround.
