- Since a while back my 245 does not log route on a map (but shows distance so GPS is working), nor does it log elevation. Can’t find a solution to this myself.
The watch can calulate the distance from the accelerometer, steps and step length so that you see the distance doesn't mean that the GPS is working. It sounds like the GPS isn't working as it should.
Do you get the green signal for the GPS before you start your activity?
There should be a GPS data field that you can add to a data screen to check the GPS status.
Yes, I receive a green signal and the weird thing is that I get the map and elevation info if I log a "walk" but not for "run"...I don't normally activate my watch during walks so just noticed this the other day. Thanks anyway for your response!
