can’t find the running schedules for training for 1/2 and full marathons.
Can they be loaded into the app and how functional is it? Like, MapMyRun, you select a plan, gives pop ups when it’s time to run. The session provides voice feed back on distance and pace. Very easy to run. Trying to see if I should keep MapMyRun for another year or just go full Garmin.
Exactly how it works probably depends on the watch. I got a Forerunner 945. After I've started a program and starts the run activity I get a question if I would like to start the planned workout.
I can see the scheduled workout in the app as a tile in my day and the full program in the calendar.
Everything in Garmin is free so you can just try it out. Start a program and see what it looks like and how it works with your watch. If you don't like it just delete it and it is removed.
