I can't get my Fenix 5 plus to connect to my new iPhone 12 Pro Max

I upgraded my iPhone yesterday to the 12 Pro Max. Now no matter what I do including all the troubleshooting steps, I can't connect my watch and phone. Please help! I'm running iOS 14.2.1

Remove Fenix 5 from Garmin Connect App
On both old and new phones "Forget" Fenix 5 in iPhone settings > Bluetooth
Reboot iPhone, reboot the watch
Pair using Garmin Connect

Thanks! Turns out even though I removed the watch from my old phone I still needed to 'forget this device' in bluetooth. Yay it's connected thanks so much

Thank you! I spend a lot of time trying to figure this out. Uninstalling apps and restarting phone and watch many times...

A soon I select "Forget This Device" on my old phone it was pairing with my new phone!

Thanks! after clicking "forget" from old phone, it does pair successfully with new one!
