Laps on activity "cardio"

Question

Hello, 
 Since the recent update of the Garmin connect application, I no longer have access to the option of viewing the circuits (laps) on my "cardio" activities as was the case before.

Go into the Connect App on your phone. go your activity and hit "edit activity." change type to "Gym and Fitness Equipment." then go into the activity and tab to see Laps will appear

At least for Garmin Venu this is solved (see also my post https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/healthandwellness/f/venu/268067/cardio-profile-without-lap ). I am now able to record Cardio profile activities and see all laps in Garmin Connect app and website.
