Connect 4.37 no longer syncing with with Apple Health.

This morning (I’m in Europe), 13. Nov 2020, Garmin Connect had updated to v4.37 overnight.

Now Connect will sync with my Approach S60 and my Index Smart Scale, but not with Apple Health - and what’s more, all the previous data for the last few years have been deleted from Apple Health as well. The data is in Connect, but not in Health.

iOS version 14.1

  • don't be to happy.... wait a little while, sync your device again... and your data will disappear again.

This morning I had all my steps again, including yesterday. just checked again and noticed them disappearing. sent a email to Garmin support.... I have seen the same behavior a while ago (maybe a year o 2)

  • Yeah, I have the same problem, which is very annoying...

Data in Apple Health disappears, sometimes comes back, but never more than last 30 days.

By the way - I also sync data from Garmin Connect to Gyroscope (directly from one app to the other). And in this case all the data (steps, heart rate and sleep) syncs without any problems - both the current data, as well as all the records from the last few years. Nothing changed here.

    iOS v. 14.1, Garmin Connect v. 4.37.

  • I have this issue as well, but seems to be completely random.  Steps show up then disappear.  Sleep shows up then disappears.  Have not seen heart rate at all for several days and now all past data is deleted.   Amazing.

  • The Same Here with iOS 14.2

  • Same issue for me. All data from Garmin has gone

  • This is infuriating. My Vivoactive 4S will sync with Connect just fine. Data appears in Apple Health, then disappears. I've tried everything. I also can't get data to sync with other apps. I have an iPhone 6 that's still running iOS 12. I've tried deleting all data from Connect in Apple Health. A few minutes later, Resting energy, flights climbed, and active energy will sync. Give it another couple minutes and I'll get sleep analysis. Wait a few more minutes, then flights climbed and sleep disappear.

  • I’m on IOS 13.5.1 and I am experiencing this problem too. All Garmin historical data disappeared in Apple Health. Deleted Garmin Connect and reinstalled.  Best I could get is one month’s worth of history but then that deleted again this morning.

  • I also reported to support. Steps are not being reported to Apple Health or Noom on my phone, so Garmin is the common denominator.

  • Same issue on my iOS 14.2

  • Same issue. Used to have 30 days of data but that disappeared as well. Any ideas what can be done?
