distance recording problem with Garmin Edge 530

I’m experiencing a distance recording problem with my Garmin Edge 530. I regularly commute just under 10 km yet my Edge device only records 5 km. The map is plotting the correct distance. I’ve tried resetting to factory settings but this hasn’t resolved.

Do you still have the FIT files from these problematic activities? Could you zip them and attach to this thread? You said you reset to factory, so not sure if you can provide that.

With that info, we can dig into the details of the ride to see what might be happening.
