Forgot to press save after run. Can I retrieve data ?

I finished a run this morning & pressed the stop button but forgot to press save on my Garmin 45.

Run not recorded but can I get it back ?

Then there is a chance it is still on your device.
- With your Garmin device connected to your computer
- Open the drive associated with your device.
- Look for your FIT file under the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY…

I have no experience with successfully fixing a golf activity. Might need someone else to assist. Meanwhile, I suggest at least reporting this issue to Garmin Product Support.

Is there an issue with this? It doesn't appear to be corrupt. Uploaded fine to my own Garmin Connect account.

Some fit files can be fixed by FIT File Tools, using the section remover without any adjustments. The result can then be uploaded to Garmin Connect Web using the Import Data page. I tested your file, so this works - fitfiletools.fit

Can you help? Did not press save after the golf and the battery ran out. The golf is not saved. Found the XML on the watch but tried to put it in import and it did not work.

Tried to fix it myself but the data in the fixed file was completely nuts (e.g. it turned my 6k run into a 6000k run!).
