Pairing HRM PRO with Connect APP on IOS 14.x

Hello all

I got HRM PRO yesterday and been trying to pair it (bluetooth) with my Iphone XS IOS 14 since but no luck. Tested also on my old Iphone 6S as well and result is the same. I can connect to my forerunner 220 and wife's Huawei P30 garmin connect app which is very odd.

Logical conclusion is that IOS 14 has bluetooth issues when it comes to garmin HRM PRO?
Anyone else seen this and if so is there a workaround ?

I watched the garmin video about how to add new devices and followed steps to the letter but still no connection over bluetooth.

I found an old Iphone 6 in the drawer with 12.x ISO version and tested Bluetooth pairing and it worked.
It seems that IOS 14.x has some bugs that need to be resolved, until then I would not recommend users to upgrade just yet.

last night it just paired to HRM pro. Nothing special was done, it just worked, very odd but I'll take it.

I have the same issue but on a new HRM-Pro purchase. Initially it connected to Garmin connect. Garmin connect then suggested the 7.1 update which I applied. After that it will no longer pair with Garmin conenct. The HRM-Pro does connect with my Forerunner watch.

Hello.

I have the same issue with my 16.5 iPad and iPhone 12. Did you solve the problem Former Member and Former Member?

The HRM Pro is connected to my Fenix 5 but impossible to connect to the phone. I just want to update the HRM Pro.
