I’ve joined the walking challenge and logged more than the required miles but it doesn’t register on my watch- why?

Why doesn’t my watch pick up the miles I’ve walked for the hallowe’en walking challenge

Which watch do you have? Did you start your walks as an activity or Move IQ? They have to be recorded GPS walking activities.

Hi I have the approach s20 - the watch records my steps how do I get it in gps mode

Is it a golf watch and can't record any other activities. You could probably record other activities if you record a golf activity and after you've saved it change the activity type to Walking or whatever activity you've performed.
