I am having trouble getting data to show in Noom app

What do I do within Garmin connect o make sure my steps can be read by the Noom app?

I had the same issue. I reconnected the Garmin Connect app. In Noom, I found a new app named Connect. I turned off Garmin Connect and turned on Connect and my steps appeared in Noom. Hope this helps.

Who makes the Connect app that works? Can’t find it on Apple Store
