Can anybody add a card to Garmin Pay?

I'm trying to add my card to Garmin Pay to my Venu, but it keeps saying "This issuing bank does not support Garmin Pay. Check back later" or something along those lines. HOWEVER, I was able to get past that screen one time out of like the 30 times that I have tried adding a card, it went to "Validating Card", but then it said there was an error but it didn't close out of the menu. It just stayed on the screen that said validating with a loading symbol. It stayed that way for 2 minutes so I just closed it. Then, after that I couldn't get back to that step. I only got as far as the issuing bank problem again.

I contacted my bank and they said that my card is supported by Garmin Pay.

I also have the latest connect app and firmware for my Venu.

Is your bank and card listed here? https://www.garmin.com/garminpay/banks/

There are so many different payment systems out there now so the person you spoke to might have misunderstood what system you asked about.

I think someone at another Garmin forum talked about a similar or same issue and he had to let the bank do something on their side to make it work
