Why has the VO2 max feature disappeared from the newly formatted Health Stats?

I used to be able to see a graph of my VO2 max levels via the app but now that option has disappeared. At one point VO2 max readings stopped updating regularly but you corrected that. Unfortunately they have now disappeared altogether.

  • Assuming you're going to More >> Performance Stats >> VO2 Max. I see a graph on the tabs 4w, 12w, an 6m. What do you see on Garmin Connect Web? Could you post a screenshot showing your issue?

I go to More but instead of ‘Performance Stats’ it has changed to ‘Health Stats.’
The only stats listed there are for Sleep, Weight, Calories, Calories In/Out, Hydration and Menstrual Cycle.
There is no longer the option to see VO2 max.
  • Which version? I'm on 4.34.4.1, which was the latest as of Sept. 4th. Definitely in Performance Stats on mine, as far as i can recall, that's where it has been. Which Garmin Device is registered to your account on the iOS app?

You should also see it on  Garmin Connect Web

I don’t know what version of the app I’ve got but it automatically updates to every new version. This change happened about 3 days ago.

i can see the stats on Garmin Connect Web but always preferred to view via the app.

The Garmin device I have is the Vivosmart 4

  • I don’t know what version of the app I’ve got

You can check under More >> Settings >> App Info. If all that checks out, you can try restarting your iPhone, then (if it's still missing) reinstalling the app. Since you're seeing VO2 max on the web, likely the issue is not with your watch or with VO2 max missing altogether. The web and the app should be displaying the same data, just different interfaces.

I just restarted my phone and it’s back to how it should be. Don’t know why it was playing up.
    Thanks for all your help!
