  • Since IOS13.7 is installed and a update GCM i can’t connect my FR 945 with my IPhone 11 max? The problem was resolved in 5.0 and worked perfect. But sincethis morning it is broken again. Anyone the same experience. Restarted the watch by long press etc. but no avail.

  • Have you tried turning the phone and watch both off and on again?

If it is not working try reassociating the watch to the phone.

Btw i have iPhone 7 and 945 and there was no problem for me.

  • Yep i did. It is an old problem that seems to re occur from time to time.

  • Before updating watch was connected this morning. I tried again and again t reassociate the watch but no avail.

I joined the threads and moved it to the GC Mobile iOS forum.

  • Just to make sure, there is a specific sequence for unpairing/pairing a Garmin device with Garmin Connect.

From Garmin Connect Mobile app on your iPhone

    • Tap "More" >> Garmin Devices >> Select your connected device (if it's connected)
    • Tap 3-dot icon on the upper right >> Remove Device >> Remove
    • Close the Garmin Connect Mobile app

Go back to the main menu on your iPhone

    • Open Settings >> Bluetooth
    • Under "MY DEVICES" tap the "i" icon to the right of your Garmin device
    • Tap "Forget This Device"
    • Restart your iPhone
    • Restart your Garmin device

Open the Garmin Connect Mobile app

    • Tap the "+" icon in the upper right
    • Select your watch from the list of Garmin devices
    • Put your Garmin watch in Bluetooth pairing mode (This varies based on device, so check the user manual)
    • Tap Start on the app and the iPhone
    • When prompted with "Bluetooth Pairing Request" enter the PIN (passkey) displayed on your Garmin device
    • When iPhone displays "Pairing Complete!" tap "Done"

Use Garmin Express from a computer which will automatically check for and install available software updates.

  • Hi seilogramp. I did the sequence several times. But it don’t want to connect anymore. Once it said watch found and after that it just doesn’t install.  I could be a coincidence but before installing 13.7 and the update GCM it worked fine after installing 5.0 firmware.

I have the same problem with my fenix 6 pro and iPhone.

  • I had the same problem with my new 1030 plus and was prompted by the Swedish support team to reinstall the App on my IOS device. Now nothing connects. The weird part is that the process seems to be different every time i try to connect. sometimes I have to accept a PIN, sometimes I have to wright a PIN. And I get the same error every time: Divese was not found even though it is visible in the IOS settings

If you're not being asked for a pin, it is likely that you didn't go into BT settings on your phone to "forget" your Garmin device.
