Scheduled workouts not uploading

Since yesterday 24 August 2020, scheduled workouts are not successfully uploaded to my FR630, I'm getting "Transfer failed" on the watch. The Training Calendar on the watch is empty. Prior to yesterday, this has been working fine for years.

My phone and watch have been restarted several times, did not help.

GC was indeed updated yesterday, it might of course be a pure coincidence that the problem started then, or not...?

Thx to the information in this thread https://forums.garmin.com/apps-software/mobile-apps-web/f/garmin-connect-mobile-ios/236243/garmin-sync-and-bluetooth-issues-after-latest-update, I found out that removing the device from Garmin Connect and reinserting it helped. Of course I had to redo some settings that are not saved, like 24-hour format, lap alerts etc, but much easier and quicker than waiting for Garmin to fix this new 'feature' introduced with the latest version...

Well, need to remove/add the device frequently, not every day, but almost...

Are you using Strava Live Segments?

I have the same problema, and it disappear if I disable Strava Live Segments. Then if I enable them the issue come back. But it is consistent, if I disable Live Segments the sync always works.

No, at least I don’t think so... Strava as such was connected, but did not find anything related to Livesegments. Disconnected Strava completely now as I’ve not used it in years, let’s see how it goes.

Nope, disconnecting Strava did not help. Still could not sync workouts down to the watch. Uploading steps etc. from the watch has been working all the time
