Have you tried deleting your activity history from your device?
Try deleting your activities from your Garmin device. Make sure you've synced first if you haven't already done that. You might have to sync using Garmin Express, if GC mobile is not working for you.

I’m getting the same message
I’m getting the failed installation message after every ride. Suggests storage issue which I don’t understand and when I select manage storage I get stuck in a loop. The good news is my ride data is showing up in Garmin Connect app daily and it is syncing with Strava. This failure message began after Garmin was down completely recently. Anymore insight out there?
