Bluetooth/Mac address 00:00:00:00.00:00

My Garmin 735xt will not connect to my iPhone via Bluetooth or my laptop via USB so I’m unable to even install any required updates.
The Bluetooth/MAC address is reading 00:00:00:00.00:00 on the watch.
I’ve tried hard / soft resets and trolled through google for an answer.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

You are not supposed to connect the watch with the phone through the BT functions of the iPhone. Follow the installation instructions, and use Garmin Connect instead.

I have to tested both 2 type android and iphone and yes absolutely using garmin connect. My phone can't discover garmin bluetooth and after check in system The Bluetooth/MAC address is reading 00:00:00:00.00:00 on the watch.

Same problem here with a Descent G1 Solar - after the last software-update, no connection via Garmin Connect possible, battery is running from 100% to 0% within 24h.

Do a soft reset (no data or settings will be lost). Always a good precaution after a firmware update.

Same issue, won't pair with phone. Same Bluetooth mac address all 0. Also battery is depleting within 24 hours

I have the same problem after the 8.20 update, now Garmin say it is a hardware fault and have offered me a replacement at £100, Their software update has broken it!

My Descent Solar was still under warrantee so I went back to the shop I bought it from. They sent it to Garmin who replace the dive comp at no charge. Don't think it fair at all if you have to pay for a replacement!! Even if it's out of warrantee terms.
