Block specific notifications

I have a Forerunner 245 Software version 4.40 linked to my iphone using IOS 12 running the Garmin Connect Version 4.32.0.32

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to stop notifications from specific Apps?

I understand that if I go into the phone and follow the instructions stated here

It will stop them but will also stop them from displaying on my phone, I am guessing but it looks like it is possible on android phones.

Any help would be appreciated

I have the same question or problem, looking for a solution to keep notifications on the iPhone and select which apps to show notification from on the watch. It would be nice to do that. I have found similar requests and questions from 5 years ago, so this is not a new problem. I guess it's just not being picked up by Garmin. :(

Hi, I wanted to turn off all notifications not to be bothered when using my Garmin for sports. On iOS, you can go in General > Bluetootoh > [your Garmin device : press (i)] > and eventually block all system notifications (that includes Whatsapp, Outlook and so on). You can't select specific apps, but at least it's radical :)
