All activities are not uploading to Garmin Connect. Bike ride won't upload (is in history on 935). Run completed after ride uploaded fine.

Morning bike ride won't upload to garmin connect. The ride is in history on my 935. I ran after my bike. The run uploaded to garmin connect, but the ride still hasn't uploaded. I tried to do the sync on my iphone initially and then tried again by connecting it directly to my laptop and attempting to upload through Garmin express. This is the second time this has happened within the last few weeks.

    what does Garmin Connect Web say when you import the bike fit file from your activity folder on the FR935 ?

    I didn’t do that. I’ve never had to manually import the fit file.

    Haven’t done it. Don’t know how to grab the file off my 935. Don’t know why I would have to manually grab files to upload when it should be uploading automatically. 

    soooo, I guess the question is, “why aren’t all of my workouts uploading?”

    hi,

    your fit file could be corrupted

    that is why I asked what Garmin Connect Web shows when uploading the file manually

    looks I can not assist you in the search why

    Gotcha. Thanks for trying. If I had any clue how to grab the file from my 935, I would try it.

    Hi there

    I have a similar issue with a Cardio activity. It was saved after finished. The watch (vivoactive 4) face showed updated steps 6.500 aprox and intensity minutes 600. After a few minutes seem it restarted and steps were Zero and intensity min 435 (yesterday’s count). Second time this happens. 

    when I upload the activity to the web using the USB cable it shows all its data. But steps and intensity min do not show the recent activity.

    It is easy actually. You have to use the charging cable and connect to your computer. The activity files are in Garmin/activity in order by date

    Don’t know how to grab the file off my 935

    If you have a Windows computer (different process for Mac), connect your 935 via the Garmin USB cable to your computer then in file explorer the mapped drive will typically be "D:\GARMIN." Your activities should be in the folder "D:\GARMIN\ACTIVITY." Look for the problematic .fit file. You should be able to locate the file based on the date. Then drag and drop the file onto this page - Import Data

    After upload is attempted you should see either the message We don't support the file type you tried to import or Import Complete

    As Former Member requested, based on which message you receive, we'll know where to go from there and be able to help you get your ride uploaded to Garmin Connect and possibly figure out why this happened on this particular ride.

    I used the charging cable and attached it to my computer. It does not show the bike activity. I can see in the history on my watch, but it doesn’t show it in Garmin connect.
