Is there some way to record Indoor Rowing strokes?

The App shows a placeholder for strokes, but it's empty, and I can't enter anything there!

No problem recording strokes when using the Indoor Rowing activity on Fenix 5 +:

Vivosmart has no indoor rowing activity.

The watch can record the activity as another type and correctly tracks heart rate.

I can then change the activity type, and enter some missing stats manually, but cannot enter stroke count.
