Why has my Garmin account logged me out today forcing me to sign in again?

The issue I have is all my data was recorded against, a now defunct email address, meaning I can’t reset the password and so lose all my old data, and all this before I got to change my details.

Is there any way for Garmin to transfer my data to the new account I have had to set up?
