I have several Edge unites - 810 and 530.
On my Edge 810 I only start the computer, start an activity and LiveTrack starts - This without opening Garmin Connect on my mobile.
On the Egde 530 it’s a completely different story. There I need to start Garmin Connect on my mobile before I start the activity to get the LiveTrack to work.
I would say that this is no good, and there must be some sort of differences. In both cases the Bluetooth on my mobile says that they are connected, but on the units that is not the case. Edge 810 says Connected, but the Edge 530 is constantly searching...
Can Garmin please get this fixed?
Running with Garmin Connect open on the phone drains the battery....
