Steps not syncing in challenges

My steps are not registering in the weekly steps challenge with my connections. Cycling has registered but not steps! Any ideas?!

HI there! This could be your settings are set to private. For the steps to show up in the challenges your settings will need to be set to, My Connections and Groups or everyone. You can find this setting by logging into garmin.com and it will be under the account settings.

I had the same. I removed the watch from garmin connect and added again. Now steps are updated in challenge
