Uploading Foretrex601 tracks to phone via Garmin O

I cannot for the life of me figure out if / how to transfer the tracks I create on my 601 up top my garin connect app on my iphone ?

Units are connected and can synch.

I thought this might happen automaitcally ?

What Am i missing t? thanks

Should be automatic, but it doesn't have activity tracking like some of the Garmin fitness devices or tactical devices like the Instinct, if that's what you were expecting.

Hi.....not so much LIVE activity tracking ....but cant i save a track and then upload it to Connect ? My earlier walks have google map grabs attached to them. I cannot remember how i did this ? possible using MapMyWalk which i used to use in tandem to the foretrex ? My foretrex also has "auto upload" in the settgins and I have that toggled on ?

Try uploading using using Garmin Express. In this case, with the foretrex, Garmin Connect Mobile app is used primarily to receive emails, texts and alerts on your foretrex while you have it paired to your iPhone. But you should be able to view the track on Garmin Connect after you sync it using Garmin Express.

Also, as an FYI, the forums here are mostly regarding Garmin fitness devices. Therefore, getting first-hand knowledge from anyone is very limited. If your issues continue, suggest contacting Garmin Support.
