Amazon Music Error 502

Doesn’t sync, has errors all the time, the odd time it does sync it actually doesn’t!! Error 502..... error 502..... and so it continues. Loads of (hundreds) other bad reviews on the Garmin Amazon app. Maybe it’s an amazon issue... but they are both in bed together, watch will have to go back if not sorted pretty pronto.

  • Yes, also giving the same problem since the last update. 3 Garmin vivoactive 4 ir 4s watches in our household and all having the same issue. Really frustrating!

  • Hi- I keep getting the above error message every time I try to play music through my watch to go running. I have had no problems until today and did not do anything differently today. I have tried removing and reinstalling device on garmin connect on my phone but it doesn't work. I've tried turning both the watch and the phone on and off. Bluetooth is certainly working to connect the two. I have a feeling the problem is a WiFi one but the watch and phone both say the watch is connected to our domestic WiFi. Any ideas? Thanks

Ps I have also checked that I have the latest update to tje garmin connect app. My phone says it was updated on 6th May.

  • Quick update- it has suddenly resolved itself.  No idea why.  All I did was try pressing the music button again, which I have been doing  all day.

    • I’m having the exact same issue.  Switched off & on.  Reinstalled the Amazon app in garmin.  Repaired the phone to watch. All haven’t worked.
  • same probleme here.

I have sent a report to Amazon through the app page on the store.

The problem is flag under the Alpha 21.71, if this is an issue at Garmin side it should be take into account by the team. Do not hesitate to comment and vote for this post + or -

Us too. Very frustrating and annoying.

  • Same here - on a Fenix 7X. Tried all the steps above that you have as well. Finally giving up and going for a run with zero music. Disappointed

Last week I had my phone screen fixed and they wiped everything so I had to reinstall everything from my backup. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. I just had four offline Amazon Musis playlists on my phone but I noticed at least one of the playlists had vanished earlier this week. Just now I only had one playlist on my phone. It was the process of syncing that seemed to make that final playlist also vanish. Very frustrating!

  • Same problem here

  • I have the same problem on Vivoactive 4S

  • I have the same garmin connect mobile 502 error on my Fenix 6X Pro, now I have upgraded to latest Amazon Music App 1.1.7  My watch is running version 21.00
