Livetrack issues

Current equipment

iphone 11 ios13.4

garmin 1000 rev 15.3

having issues with live track

it doesnt seem to start automatically,

you have to have the app open for live track to work, i’m sure i never used to

it seems to regularly loose connection to the phone which kicks out the live track

i have tried reseting the garmin but with no success

can someone tell me if this the norm and how it should be used, or tell be a resolution ?

    I too am having Livetrack issues and it is very frustrating as I am always out alone.
    I have iPhone 7 IOS ver 13.4
    Always have Garmin Connect App open when riding with Edge 520 + and Bluetooth connection always shows good

    The only way I can get Livetrack to work is to remove my Edge Device from Garmin Connect and re-add it. Livetrack will work until I plug the unit in for charge. After that, I cant do anything to make it operate.  No settings were changed and all config is correct. 

    Livetrack is too important for this to be the case. It should not break so easily.

    I have the same problem, especially in corona times, it's very disappointing. iPhone 11 iOS 13.4, Edge 530. The E-Mail is automatically send, but the links leads to a white website with nothing in it.

    I am having the same issue and this hasn't happened in the past.  For the last month an email is sent and only a starting point for my run.  I have iOS 13.5.1 and a Forerunner 235.  My Connect app is up to date.  Any ideas?

    I am getting the same problem with my Fenix 6x Pro and Iphone. I've emailed Garmin support, lets see what they come back with

    I never found a resolution to this issue so I purchased a 1030, never had any issues since, sorry this doesn’t help but i found the issyto frustrating

    Exactly the same is happening to me. Sometimes the link leads to a map showing only part of the track. iPhone 7, Edge 830.
