Unable to save contacts Garmin Connect - iOS

iPhone XS Max, iOS 13.3.1, Garmin Connect 4.28.1.1

There doesn't seem any obvious way to save contacts. The app has access to the contacts and I can select them but there is no option to actually save them.

I select some contacts and click 'Done'. The little running guy appears briefly and the screen returns to the same page. The only way to exit is to press 'Cancel' and no contacts are saved.

Am I missing something obvious?

having the same issue as well! it's so frustrating! Also when trying to add the contact, I get an error so it's a lose lose situation

Seems to be an issue afflicting only Garmin Connect Mobile iOS users. Has anyone contacted Garmin Support?

Does nobody from Garmin Support monitor these forums? Or is it just a place for disgruntled users to whinge?

This is a user-to-user community forum. We try to help each other when we can. Occasionally Garmin staff will reply, but it is not to be expected. In this case, it sounds like something is broken in the app rather than a user issue, which is why a support ticket should be created through the Garmin Support site.
