Syncing my Forerunner 245 with Connect

I just spent over 40 mins trying to get my Garmin Forerunner to connect - very frustrating

Turning Bluetooth on and off, powering iPhone on and off, deleting the app and reinstalling it. Eventually got it to see my device and sync

Got iso 13.3.1 software on phone

you guys do not make it easy.....

I am good now but every few day I have to go through the ritual of turning things on and off, forgetting the device and re- installing it - it gets old. I understand Apple keeps updating its software and you have react but there should be a way of informing us users that something has changes and you need to do a certain sequence of things to get it to sync rather than unable to sync - figure it out for yourself.....
