Steps have disappeared

My Vivomove HR has suddenly stopped recording steps.  Everything else is being recorded properly - the steps are just reading as 0.  I’ve refreshed app, charged device (there’s no reset feature on device.) everything else is syncing????

    I have the same problem with an instinct. I have found no answer so far.

    Same as my Vivosmart 4 and missing out lots of Vitality points. Not too impressed!!

    My vivoactive 4s has just done the same thing! I’ve been for a run today so my steps should be well over my daily goal but it’s telling my I have done 1010 steps and burned 100 active calories which is weird because my app has tracked both my run and other exercises. Activity tracking is on etc. but the watch and the activities don’t match up??

    I had a similar issue today with my vivoactive 4s where I went for a walk and everything was recorded. I was up to 13,000 or so steps then when I got home I was back down to 9,000 and there was a gap in the data graphs (heart rate, stairs, everything) during the time I had been out. Not impressed!

    I completed a 3Km run but my Vivoactive music 3 watch didn’t record any step.

    Yep. been wondering why my average steps are so lo and realized that some days the steps are not counting when syncing. Saturday I did 13 miles, It shows in my activity and not on stop count. some days I know I've done close to 20,000 steps but shows just a  thousand. Does anyone have a clue how to get this working /syncing, or why steps are not transferring.

    Hi everyone, if I remember correctly, mine was ok after logging out of the Garmin Connect app and re-log in. U could try it.
