Garmin not using bike specific hr zones for indoor rides?

Hi all

I only recently started riding indoors on a trainer, most of the time using zwift (sometimes just using my edge or fenix).

For cycling I created bike specific hr zones, my edge as well as my fenix use these just fine when riding on my roadbike or mtb outside... but when riding indoor, with zwift, or using the ‘indoor ride’ activity profile on one of my garmin devices, it uses the general hr zones (wich are based on running, and thus much higher).

I cannot seem to find an option to change this, it is also strange in the first place that garmin connect does not use the bike hr-zones for a cycling activity (even if indoor).

Anyone else encountered the same problem and found a solution to this? I assume more people here use an indoor trainer during the winter months...
