Problems tracking my sleep with the recent update

I am so annoyed at the recent Garmin Connect update. I have difficulty staying asleep and in the past have found my Garmin very helpful in monitoring the quality of my sleep and measuring how much. I may sleep anywhere from 2-4 hours overnight and then will make up the difference with one or two naps during the day. Garmin will automatically detect my first sleep period and then later I will edit in any naps. But with the recent update, it will not let me edit in a period of less than two hours. WHY? I don't understand the point of that. And then, if my overnight sleep is around 3 hours or less, it won't detect any sleep but will give me an error message, "No Sleep Data." When that happens and I try to edit in the sleep period, it may give me some data but not complete data. I don't understand the purpose of programming the software that way either. It would seem to me that it would be better to cater to people like me with irregular sleep patterns. Is there another brand that does a better job of monitoring sleep?
