Vivosmart 4 incorrect date on weather widget

My Vivosmart 4 is displaying the incorrect date on the forecast weather page on the device. Today’s date is Friday January 17. Tomorrow is Saturday January 18. But the forecast weather widget says tomorrow is Saturday January 19. How do I fix that?

Mine has the same issue after 7:00pm CST or 12:00am GMT . Not sure on the fix

  • I guess I've decided it's a feature, not a bug, lol. When viewing the watch in the morning and early afternoon, the date is correct on the "futurecast" weather page (it shows weather and date for the following day). But, as you say, in the evening (after 12:00 GMT), it displays 2 days ahead. I guess I am wondering if the forecast is also two days ahead? It doesn't matter a lot, since I don't rely on the watch for weather reports.

  • I have the same issue. Has anyone found a fix?

On an Android 4.x or higher phone, navigate to Settings > Apps > All > Weather > Clear data. Press and hold POWER until the Phone

    Tellpizzahut

  • Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I tried this, and rebooted the phone. Looked promising at this point, since the Vivosmart 4 then displayed a warning on the weather screen. I opened the Weather app, and reallowed location. Once it came up with my correct location and displayed the weather, I synced the Vivosmart.

Alas, it's still displaying tomorrow's date, and incorrect weather (Weather app says -8 with a high of -3, and Vivosmart says -6 with a high of -1). Close, but not quite. It is always just slightly off between 1 and 6 degrees.

It's definitely tied to the Weather app somehow though, since it knew when I had cleared the data and cache for the app. Anything else you think I could try?
