Garmin Connect Mobile does not complete Edge 520 setup on a Samsung S10e phone

Garmin Connect Mobile SW ver 4.26

Garmin Edge 520 FW version: 13

Samsung S10e Android OS ver. 10 

Tried the following remedy:

1.a. Unpaired Edge 520 from the phone

  1. Turned off Bluetooth on the phone
  2. Turned off phone
  3. Set to forget Phone in Edge 520
  4. Disabled BLuetooth on Edge 520
  5. Turned off Edge 520
  6. Turned on phone
  7. Turned on BLuetooth on Phone
  8. Turned on Edge 520
  9. Enabled Bluetooth sensor on Edge 520
  10. Put Edge 520 on pairing mode
  11. Started GArmin Connect and manually choose  Edge 520 as new device to add
  12. From GArmin Connect app chose BLE_Edge520
  13. Passkey in GArmin Connect app matches the one that shows up in Edge 520 device
  14.  Chose OK on both app and device

Result: Garmin Connect app either goes through a loop  showing a generated passkey OR shows an option to RETRY.

I've even gone to factory resetting Edge 520 and

updating the FW after to no avail. Help!

    Did you get a response to this that ended up fixing your issue? I have same problem and pretty much tried everything that you did here.
