Addition of BMI zones on weight graphs

The NHS in the UK provides guidance on BMI which prevents people from taking weight loss too far and helps them appreciate what it means in context with general health guidance.  Showing this on the BMI graphs would assist people in setting healthy goals and tracking against them.

Guidance is as follows:

  • below 18.5 – you're in the underweight range
  • between 18.5 and 24.9 – you're in the healthy weight range
  • between 25 and 29.9 – you're in the overweight range
  • between 30 and 39.9 – you're in the obese range

These zone can be displayed in the background and would assist in preventing people form always seeking to lose weight which could impact performance and their long term health.
