fenix 5X PLUS bluetooth connection issues

I have owned the watch since 22/04/19 and have had few issues sync-ing my watch to my phone. Daly, I would turn on my phone Bluetooth and it would auto-sync.

The watch has suddenly stopped pairing over my Christmas break.

I have tried un-pairing it on the connect app and re-pairing it with no success. I have rebooted both the phone and watch but do not want to complete a factory reset as I don't want to lose the last 2 weeks of activities.

2nd issue

The rubber strap that feels great on the wrist has broken meaning my watch shakes whilst running which is incredibly annoying.
