Delay sync from Garmin to Strava

Is there anyway to delay the sync from Garmin to Strava?

Currently I have to rename my activities in both apps which is just not practical. If a delay isn't possible, is there any way to do a two-way sync so that if I rename in one of the apps it will at least update the other?

  • Yea that would be useful, also if I stopped to late and had to adjust my activity.

The delay, or even the disabling of the automated sync with Strava, and uploading the file only after having it edited in GC would not help anyway, since Strava reads the data from the original fit file, which does not include the activity name anyway. Strava creates its own activity names. And when you export FIT files from GC manually, they also do not include the activity name, or the value edits. The export uses also the original unedited and nameless data.

If you want to change some data in the activity, you have to edit the exported file (easier done with a TCX file format, since you can edit it in a text editor), before importing it to Strava manually.
