IQ app data has has wrong language in Connect iOS

So I'm using some apps and widgets on my EDGE 530, but for instance the GC iOS app will present data from Heart Rate Monitor + HRV app and the corresponding HR Monitor widget in German.

I've gone as far as removing all apps, widgets and data screens on the the EDGE unit. Removing the EDGE unit from the phone, and deleting both IQ and Connect apps from my phone too.
Then reinstalling it all again. The issue persists. Also, as a result, my Connect IQ app doesn't see my EDGE unit anymore. So I quit using this app and just deleted it again. I'm tired of Garmin's apps not working. Already the second time in 2 months this happened and the last "fix" I used didn't work...

Viewing the data online at Garmin Connect via web-browser doesn't show the issue and displays all in English.

Did you ever resolve this issue? I am currently having the same problem.

With which Connect IQ app exactly?

With the Garmin connect app in general. Most of it is in English but the descriptions are in German.

In that case it is off-topic here. I will post a comment rather in your other thread instead, not to pollute this one with irrelevant issues.

Wrong language at a CIQ app usually means the developer of the CIQ app defined a language (for example English) as supported, but forget to attach the English XML file, hoping the default XML would work (it is not the case, the English XML must indeed exist). This (normally) does not apply to the native GCM interface.
