Since updating my iPhone 8 to iOS 13.2.3, garmin connect no longer force-closes when I double-press the home button and swipe away the app. The battery information found under settings indicates that it spends ~22h in "background activity" even after force-closing the app.
My old workflow was to force-close the app after syncing my fenix 3 hr, then only open the app when I wanted to sync again, but now the app remains in the background, continually syncing and draining the battery of both my wearable and my phone.
