Bluetooth connection from iPhone (iOS 13.2) to Fenix has to be manually connected each day

My Fenix has stopped automatically connecting my iPhone's bluetooth. The work around appears to be to go to the phone's Bluetooth settings, manually select the Fenix from the list of paired devices and it then connects.

Annoying having to do this at least once a day.

Tried unpairing the device, deleting and reinstalling Garmin Connect but still experiencing the same issue.

Anyone aware of a permanent fix please?

  • I have noticed the same on FR935 and iPhone 11 Pro (13.2)

Notifications work for a while, then at some point in day they stop and there is a red exclamation mark.  Power off / on the FR935 fixes briefly till it breaks again.

Having to do this daily !!!

  • On iPhone 13.2.2 and GC is 4.24.2.2.  Yesterday was first full day with the GC updated software.  Had to turn bluetooth on phone off and on once due to F6 Pro not reconnecting.  This morning when I turned my phone back on I had to go into GC sign back in, check off the EULA stuff and add the F6 Pro as a watch again.  Before I did all that I checked Bluetooth on the phone and it showed the F6 was connected, just the app forgot I had one again.  I will give it one more day then put it back on an Android phone.  Getting tiresome.
